THE JOURNEY FROM WHITE BELT TO BLACK BELT
Martial arts belts are used to represent the ranking and progress of students in martial art.
It was a system put in place to reward the best students and show their progress until they get to the highest rank after attaining a certain level of expertise.
WHAT IT TAKES TO BE BLACK BELT
We believe that the two most important belts in the Martial Arts are black belt and white belt.
WHITE BELT represents the courage to begin something new, and the willingness to be a student.
BLACK BELT represents honest, integrity, humility, perseverance and generosity.
It also represents a single-minded determination, a willingness to persist in the face of obstacles.
The journey from white belt to black belt is the process of personal transformation, and learning how to do battle with your own weaknesses. Courage is the measure by which you define the character of a Black Belt.
“If you reject discipline, you only harm yourself; but if you listen to correction, you grow in understanding.” Proverbs 15:32 NLT.
BLACK BELT IS …
BLACK BELT is perfection, confidence and leadership.
PERFECTION is excellence, discipline and focus.
CONFIDENCE is power, perseverance, and mastery.
LEADERSHIP is courage, compassion, and wisdom.
